Twenty-seven LCPS students, parents and chaperons had an "Empire State" of mind in late March!
E.B. Frink Middle School eighth-grade social studies teacher Zach Groves and seventh-grade social studies teacher Casey Martin led a mixture of eighth-grade students from Frink Middle s well as high school students from Lenoir County Early College High School, Kinston High School nd North Lenoir High School through the busy streets of New York City. The group made stops at numerous famous landmarks such as the Rockefeller Center, the Empire State Building and Central Park.
Students and adults alike indulged in the city's famous hot dogs and pizza. They also took in the city's famous lights at night at Times Square. Additionally, they met multiple "celebrities" in NYC's noteworthy wax museum.
